OMA SIMPLE IM V1.0

The OMA SIMPLE IM V 1.0 enabler release defines a set of capabilities allowing the exchange of instant messages between users whether using mobile networks or fixed Internet connections. The SIMPLE IM enabler uses the SIP protocol and the SIMPLE extensions for instant messaging. The SIMPLE IM enabler relies on other OMA enablers such as Presence, XML Document Management (XDM) and Device Management (DM) to provide complementary capabilities.
