Considerations for the validation of: OMA-SUP-DTD_MLP_320-V1_0-20100831-C The following steps should be followed to correctly validate OMA-SUP-DTD_MLP_320-V1_0-20100831-C 1/ Validate only the "top" DTD files: - MLP_SVC_INIT_320.DTD - MLP_SVC_RESULT_320.DTD These two files were defined with a hierarchic structure containing a link to the rest of DTD's listed in the package where used elements are defined. In other words by validating the two "top" files all applicable underlying DTDs will automatically be validated as they are link from the top DTDs. If the underlying DTDs are validated on their own, then the validation will fail as they lack of links to other DTDs where the used elements are defined. 2/ The following DTD should be validated on its own as it is not linked as indicated above: - MLP_GEM_310.dtd Considering that MLP V3.2 and its predecessors have been published an implemented for several years with similar DTD file structure, that the means to compile a DTD seem to be known in the industry and that significant rework would be required it is recommended to take no further action.
